It’s not just a stroll — it’s a heartwarming journey through a classic Christmas setting filled with twinkling lights, holiday décor, and timeless seasonal charm. This year, the Downtown Georgetown Association welcomes you to the Hometown Christmas Stroll, transforming Historic Downtown Georgetown into a festive gathering place filled with holiday cheer for a FREE THREE-DAY EVENT.

Kick off your holiday season with the 45th Annual Christmas Stroll, a joyful, FREE, family-friendly celebration in Downtown Georgetown, TX! Enjoy our traditional parade, Santa’s Village, Whoo Hair, face painting, and shop over 200 artisan and boutique vendors. With live entertainment, festive food and drinks, charming holiday storefronts, and classic photo opportunities, this beloved tradition is one you won’t want to miss.

Friday. December 4: Stroll Kickoff Celebration 4:00 - 9:30pm

Kickoff Celebration: Join us for a festive evening with live entertainment and the grand illumination of Downtown Georgetown’s dazzling holiday lights, transforming the Square into a twinkling wonderland. This is the perfect way to welcome the holiday season, sip on hot cocoa, and make memories with family and friends as the air fills with laughter, music, and the spirit of the season.

Dancing with the Grinch & Holiday Concert: Kick off the evening with a lively dance party and festive photo moments with the Grinch, then close out the night with live music concert in the heart of Downtown Georgetown.

Christmas Preview: Stroll through a dazzling array of over 200 vendor booths, each transformed into a festive Christmas wonderland. From handcrafted holiday decor and artisan jewelry to sweet treats and boutique treasures, Friday evening is the perfect time to shop for unique gifts!

Stroll the Square: Explore the beautifully decorated storefronts of Historic Downtown Georgetown, where each shop window becomes a festive Christmas display filled with timeless holiday charm.

Saturday. December 5: Parade and Fun 10:00am - 9:30pm

Christmas Parade: Everyone’s favorite! Watch colorful floats, festive performers, and local groups march through the streets in a swirl of holiday spirit. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m.

Santa, Whoo Hair & Face Painting: Stop by Santa’s workshop on the courthouse lawn for festive photo ops, Whoo Hair makeovers, plus face painters to add a touch of Christmas-inspired to your holiday look!

Vendor Booth Bonanza & Food Truck Delights: Wander through rows of artisan vendor booths offering unique gifts, savor eats and festive bites from a variety of food trucks and vendors.

Shop Sweet Treats & Local Boutiques: Explore the charming boutiques and gift shops of Downtown Georgetown, where holiday enchanting fills the air. Indulge in a delicious dinner and festive treats at local restaurants.

Kid Zones: Explore Kids Zone offering games, treats, and crafts for all ages. This special area is filled with games, interactive crafts, story time, rock wall, obstacle course, arts, crafts and games, and festive treats designed to delight kids and families alike.

Snow in the Park: Step into a winter wonderland where fun meets marshmallows of falling snow! It’s the perfect blend of wonderful snowfall and creating a holiday experience you won’t want to miss! 

Live & Entertainment: 2 stages with live music plus performances by schools, and community groups throughout the day that will delight audiences of all ages.

Sunday. December 6: Closing Day Celebration 10:00am - 4:00pm

Soak in the Stroll: Soak in the sights, sounds, and scents of the Christmas Stroll while shopping for last-minute gifts at artisan booths and indulge in sweet treats and bites from local vendors and food trucks.

Family Activities: Continue the Stroll adventure with interactive kid zones, crafts, and more. It’s an enchanting and memorable experience that brings Christmas Stroll to life!

Hometown Farewell: Enjoy final performances and a closing celebration that leaves everyone smiling!
